The first one is black medic, also called trefoil, black clover or hop clover.

The second is not creeping charlie.... I'll see if I can ID it.

I am totally stumped on the second one. I see it all the time, it is really tiny, and erect, and gets a tiny white/blue flower at the very tip - but danged if I know what it is, lol.

Here is some info on the black medic

The black medic should be fine. I'll keep looking for the second one, and maybe someone else here will know what it is.

The first plant pictured isn't black medic, its burr clover. Its quite edible. The black medic grows taller, while burr clover sends out long stems along the ground. It will bush up if allowed to grow, but not like the black medic. I have black medic in my horse pasture and they don't eat it.

I don't know what it is, but my pasture is really infested with it. The horse doesn't eat it either, however it seems to be a spring time weed and dies out when the weather warms up.

Hmm its really tiny, even tinier bluish white buds on top, not too sticky but maybe has some little fuzzy hairs on it? very small though

Can anyone identify the second one?
And if it's toxic or not?

I'm nervous to let him roam in the yard alone because that stuff is everywhere!!

It is corn speedwell (Veronica arvensis.) I finally found it!!!

It's not on the edible list, so I am not sure if it is safe or not.
