I have a RF in a closed chamber. I was going to switch out the reptibark substrate for soil. Would it be a good idea to transplant some sod from my lawn so there would be grass to eat also? Was thinking about the same thing for my Russian tort.

The Reptibark is fine grade fir bark which is the best choice for indoor enclosures. Transplant sod requires extra plant lighting and to my knowledge that is a lot more light than RF like. The other issue is what has been applied to the sod to get it grow outside-fertilizers/disease & bug control. I have bermuda grass in my outdoor leopard enclosure and let it grow long so he has something to walk thorugh, but doesn't munch on it. Grass indoors takes a lot of work. I would add pothos and spider plants suspended above the floor to create plants to walk under and it wall add new hiding spots. Good luck and add photos
