The Mazuri LS is a supplemental food, not a treat. It is a great food, but it will usually take some time to get a tortoise to eat it. Its worth that time.

I'd skip the fruity Flukers treats for a sulcata, but a small amount mixed in to a large amount of food for a large sulcata won't do any harm. Is it "good" for them? I would argue that it is not. Is it going to do terrible harm when used in small amounts as a treat? Probably not.

I've never heard of the other one and really can't comment on it without knowing more about it. It seems to be copying other products, and I would prefer to go with those other known originals. Tortoisesupply.com sells a great "Herbal Hay" and "Salad Topper". ZooMed sells their own version of "Flower Topper". Kapidolofarms.com sells dozens of different and fantastic dried leaf options. I would go with any or all of these. I've used them all and can vouch for their safety and quality.

Thanks Tom. The Mazuri is a food to be given every day? Also I want to say g you for this information. I will cancel the orders I have for the 2 other ones and I will get the ones you said. I am going to attach another screen of the ones I am ordering.

Don't get that moss one. Tortoises can't digest it and it can cause entanglement both inside and out.

I don't think any food should be given every day, other than grass hay for adults of giant species. Mazuri is a good supplemental food. I like to use it once or twice a week. Mazuri is not "necessary" if you are able to provide lots of other good foods, but I do think in ensures that they are getting good nutrition in case of any nutrient gaps that may be present.

The flower topper is good to use a couple of times per week. Also look for Mulberrific and Arcadia Optimized 52. Both of those can be found at kapidolofarms.com. While there pick up some dried leaf options to mix in with greens. I like the dandelions, Moringa, marsh mallow, and so many more. Great variety, great nutrition, and so easy to use.

As Edward said: You definitely don't want moss in a tortoise enclosure. They eat it. It can cause impaction.
