Hi there,
I'm trying to increase the humidity in my turtle table I built for my 4 sulcata
hatchings. I have a nesting box with coconut coir. I bought a acu-rite therm/hydrometer says temp on cool side is 81 and humidity is 51%.
Does anyone use moss in there enclosure and how about adding plants?
Thanks again Grace

Adding Plants Is A Great Way To keep up and maintain humidity as well as provide food and shade!
and Yes you can mix the moss in their humid have if you have one, some members even mix it with their coco coir substrate.
If your trying to increase humidity try closing up the top of the enclosure to keep in the humidity and heat and spray the whole thing
multiple times daily.
If you dont have the time or way to do that u can try a reptifogger mister.

Thanks I'll definitely add some moss to the coir and look into getting a few plants.

The easiest way is to put a top on the enclosure and add a humidifier. Read the threads at the bottom of my post,by my signature. Almost everything you need to know to raise a smooth, healthy sulcata.
