Hello all

I have a friend who bought a ton of snack food for his turtle. He said it would be perfectly safe for a russian tortoise to have some of it too, although the instructions do not suggest that at all. Could anyone let me know if it is safe?

Thanks!

those floating type food sticks are usually high in protein, fine for water turtle not so good for russians.

I would absolutely not give such a thing to my Russians in a million years. The sticks are formulated for turtles, who eat much more protein than a Russian. A box turtle or Redfoot, maybe, Russians, never ever ever.
