My baby turtle Bambi as some of you know is a special needs turtle (one nostril, half a leg, one eye and the other showing signs) he is small, but is learning how to eat on his own! Praise The Lord. Though he doesn't understand how to get in his water. I put him in there all the time. I also mist and make sure the humidity is high. I soak him everyday almost three times some days. He still seem dry. How do i help him? What else can I do to help my special baby?

Perhaps stuff some moss or coconut coir in his hide-away area.

No I had miss but took it out yesterday due to having an allergy to it. So coco coir? Can I get that at a pet shop? How much do I use?

Coir is great. Doesn't mold, holds moisture, doesn't impact, sticks to the tortoise less than peat moss, and is more eco-friendly than cypress mulch.

I buy mine from a garden shop. When expanded it's 70 liters, for 16 bucks
