We offered to make some people a hut in exchange for these guys. You can see visible pyramiding, but it isn't too bad (one has less than the other). It will be easy to correct it and the rest if their growth should be smooth from here on out!

We'll be keeping one as a forever pet and the other is going to my Mom and Dad to live on their land!

Some good pics of the newbies.

They're pretty shy!

Good for you and them. Their pyramiding looks like almost nothing when taken from the top. Hmmm, I think I said that on another thread a while ago, hmmm, oh well, that was for someone else. Anyway, they are lucky torts, congrats.

Yeah, one is worse than the other but it's okay :)

They looked worse in the first pics the lady sent to me (see previous) than in person, for that I was glad!

One has food in his mouth and has been carrying it around with him. Haha. Saving it for later!

They've already had a good 25 minute soak, food and a nice humid hide to snuggle into for the night. Tomorrow? Sunlight! :)

Did you get any back story on them? Always interested in adoptions past history. Im glad you got them and now they will have not only forever homes but great ones.

From my understanding, their own adult Sulcata's produced them. I can't be certain as I didn't see them or get pictures of the adults, but that's the story.

I spoke too soon! Just after writing that, they sent pictures of the breeding pair... breeding. Haha!

I wonder if they got these two as adults? Seems strange that the babies are pyramiding but the parents aren't.
