Great pictures! How often do you feed the mazuir? During the Winter, when greens are scarce, I give it to them twice a week.

Terry Hello!!!!...... I really don’t have a certain regime on “ how much “ and on what days ….. For the most part I would say 1x a week for the adults ( or more for photo ops ;) ) ….and 2x a week for the Jr.s
Many of the adults graze the natural grass ( well “ planted grass” I mean) in the yard ….One would not expect to see this type of feeding habit within this species of tortoise , but more commonly thought of the larger grazing types such as Leos’ , Sullies’ and the extreme giants. The Rf’s and Cherries both are extremely fond of the “new” grass spouts. I though- out the year constantly seed the yard especially to grow these very nutritious and healthy “greens” they so much enjoy. A very nice bonus living in So. CAL .. the "growing seasons and climate" .
