He's lookin' good!

I'd hate to see those beautiful hardwood floors ruined by tortoise poop and pee. Does Timothy have his own space?

How long you had him? He looks comfortable.

Just hope the cute boy in the background photo are not accidentally step or trip on him and fall on the hardwood floor.

He looks great. How old is he now? Any details you want to share about the care that produced such a nice looking tortoise?

I've had him a year and 4 months and he was only a couple months when I got him. He has his own inclosure but he likes to have a nose around and move everything in his way lol, the cute boy is now 13 and don't come out his room anymore lol so no tripping. I just follow all the care sheets on here really as housing and food goes :) he gets a bath every night and gets freefrange of the house while I'm in and garden when it's nice so.he gets his exercise, as for the pee and the poop when he walking round I've got quite lucky I put a doggy training pad down and he seems to.always use that lol

never let your tort roam around your house. he can easily become injured or each something bad. its way to risky.

I always keep an eye on him, he has been roaming round since I've had him and no problem or accident has happened so I'm confident, all stiff is moved before hand too so all is good

My girl knocks on her indoor enclosure door when she wants to come out and walk the house. The will often lay in the sun near a window on the dog bed after making her rounds. After a while she gets bored and goes back to her place
and I let her back in. No drama queen.ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1425490167.983933.jpg always being supervised, she makes all the other critters get out of her way. ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1425490213.382738.jpgwhen she roams the yard she stops and looks into the dog run as if wondering why they are in there.ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1425490315.828471.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1425490366.947939.jpg
As long as she cannot get under or behind anything... And the stairs are gated... She is safe and getting some much appreciated opportunity to peruse her indoor kingdom in between meals.
