Update on vita-shell

I have been using vita-shell on morloch for one year now.. However ,, comparing to other sulcatas, I notice no difference.,, so now I've stopped using it, there are a couple of pics to show,

Its actually a useless product. Its best used as a hand cream. Placing such a cream on the shell of a turtle or tortoise can actually trap bacteria at the surface and cause more problems than good. Best way to provide good shell health is not with a cream, but with a proper diet and habitat.

Personally, I have found it useful with older worn shells, They stay much cleaner.

I shared your experience. Didn't seem to make much difference for me. If they already have good growing conditions (which yours did :) ) they really don't need that stuff. I will never test the theory, but I suspect it WOULD help a tortoise that was kept in the old style super dry conditions.

Either way Morloch looks great, and that is reason enough to celebrate!
