well i was going to update on my tortoises almost 2 months ago but my camera broke and it couldnt be fixed sadly, so i just got a refurbished phone

well here are the tortoises stats lol
I will go from tort 1-4(oldest to youngest) and i suck at naming pets so im still undecisive hah

tortoise #1
7.2 inches length
5 inches wide
2 1/2 pounds
1 year old

tortoise #2
7.2 inches length
4 1/2 inches wide
2.1 pounds
1 year old

tortoise #3
5 inches in length
4.3 inches wide
1.1 pounds
1 year old

tortoise #4
6.2 inches length
4.5 inches wide
1.7 pounds
11 momths 2 weeks

theyre getting bigger.

I bought the tortoises and they already had some form of pyramiding so i am working on making them smoother so take it easy on me haha

heres the vid: (Today I had to put them on the cement because i was working on cutting the grass and didnt want the tortoises getting in the way, and it made it easier to film the vid too because i could leave my phone there, and even though they tried biting it a few times :)

video is not working so i will join vimeo lol so i can upload it and add it here

:tort:

Thanks for the info. I assume that all 4 torts are sulcatas? If so, I think tort #1 is huge. My tort is almost a year and he only weights abt 1 1/2 lbs. I though he was big....I'm finding--not so. Thanks for the stats.

Awesome yea you totally have a chance at him getting huge, i think its the amount you feed them lol, i kind of fed them a lot early on but later on i gave them what was enough because overfeeding causes pyramiding i was told lol

I hate being so paranoid about pyramiding:S I also heard too speedy of a growth can cause pyramiding as well, so it's worth taking my time and enjoying the days when he's a little one^_^
