image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hi, so its been almost 3months since champi was born, and i noticed champi's growth is quite rapid, infact a little too rapid, see pics.

Plus, im a lil concerned about him, by the way i confirmed him to be a real HIM, so thank god cuz ide really like a male, anyway, my concern is that i think he's growing a little too fat, see pics again.

And lastly i need to ask your opinion about something, i was wondering if i could allow a little pyramiding to happen just to make his shell look a little more awesome or will even the slightest pyramiding be bad? I dnt know, what do u think? Because he's male right? So no harm in a little pyramid, cus he's the one thats gonna mount,

How did you determine his sex at such a small size?
I wouldn't think that a shell deformity would look awesome. But a little is rather normal. Some of us try really hard to stop pyramiding and sometimes it still happens. I wouldn't do it on purpose because it is basically a sign of bad health.....

The V shape has already shown on his plastron.

Not too much deformity tho, just a little bit, just it could stand out a bit,

About the post being spammed, thankfully a mod, has removed the bugged ones, and thankyou for the moderator for that, i looked like a complete jackarse for doing that, un intentionaly ofcourse, and about the pyramiding thing, i wouldnt actually be changing anything except the himidity level on his enclosure, no changes to the diet, the routine or what not, but the habitat conditions, because here in my country believe it or not is an almost exact replica of what they have in africa, in weather conditions, so himidity comes natural, to be honest i dont think intentional pyramiding is even possible to do so here, unless i put him on a very dry box in pitch dark airconditioned room.

Its way to early to determine sex , saying he is a male is at best a "guesstimate" . I have worked very hard to keep Speedy from pyramiding since I like most everyone else consider it to be an unhealthy , unnatural , shell deformity !

As noted, pyramiding is a sign of poor health and improper living conditions for your Sulcata. Please provide him with high humidity/heat/and hydration that's required for your species.
