Looks nice. I bet they love relaxing in the chairs lol.
Just an FYI. Tortoises should not be housed in pairs. Sometimes 2 female Redfoot can, but in that size enclosure which without knowing the measurements, looks like a good size for only one.
If the two are the same age but one is considerably smaller, that's a problem and result of keeping them in pairs.
Housing in pairs is also a constant stress on them.
Instead of waiting to see if one gets sick, you'd be better off just separating them.

Thank you! Yes I am concerned about them being a pair. They both eat well and have their own spots they prefer to hang out. I rescued them together a little over a year ago. I’d like to get another 1or two rescues at some point to help make bullying less likely.

You will need a much bigger enclosure for a group of them. Also be 100% on their sex. A group of females, 3 or more would work good but still in a bigger enclosure.

I do second what’s been said about them being a pair but it’s good you’re aware of it! Is it possible to build a second area like this so they can be separated until you can work out a group set up? I think it’d be worth it because it can be tricky picking up on the effects the stress can have on them living as a pair.

This is truly a wonderful spot you’ve made though wow! Don’t suppose you’d mind me adding it to my ‘enclosure inspiration’ thread?😍no hard feels if not, but it’d be a lovely addition!🐢💚

What square footage do you recommend? Current space is 8x20ft but lots more space to work with.

8x20 that's a nice size, looks a lot smaller in the pics. @ZEROPILOT can best answer that.
The bigger the better.
Go as large as you can to begin with. Or in my case, as large as your spouse will allow.
8x20 is adequate for a single tortoise. I'm currently building one that is more or less 12x25.
