Using redwood

I am looking around for a good substrate at gardening centers and I came across something known as Gorilla Hair. It is actually a redwood mulch and it is 1/100th of the cost of mulch at petsmart. Does redwood have any oils that are dangerous to reptiles?

Redwood is toxic. I do not use it for anything in our yards.

look for the coconut stuff.. or mix sand with top soil.. also the moss is good to use.. it does mold when wet and good for hides.
