UVA/UVB Lighting

went to pick up more essentials for my tortoise and i asked about different bulbs. the guy said that this is a 2-in-1, meaning that if i buy this, i won't need a heat lamp, that this bulb includes it along with the uv that my tortoise needs. wasn't too sure about it, so i passed on this one. does anyone use this?

It doesn't look like it provides UVB, so you'd need a different bulb for that.

And you also don't want a "spot" type bulb.

Hi I’ve been doing some research into uv light but Carnt seem to get my head around it .... so I thought somebody on here my be able to help me out .... Is there an ideal light range for sulcata tortoises ? How am I able to measure the uv light ? Do standard combination lights (uv/basking)...

You want a strip florescent for UVB and a CHE for heat.

These MVB "all in one" do NOTHING adequately.
And are very inconsistent from one bulb to another.
I recommend staying far away from them. I also recommend not taking suggestions from most people that work at those pet shops.
