Hello! At one of my local pet stores, they do not use UVB for their reptiles, but use the zoomed calcium powder with D3. Is that ok? Because they get the calcium with the D3 that helps them absorb the calcium...I’m confused if this is ok, so please reply! Thanks!

Not my first choice, but they can get by that way while waiting to be sold.

For a Redfoot maybe, but any other Tort going without UVB for an extended amount of time isn't recommended.

Most pet shops are set up to keep the animals they sell for a short time.
But be warned because most pet shops will also try to sell you all the WRONG things. UV lights included, when you buy the same animal.
Check on this forum first. The type of tortoise. Your enclosure design and photos if possible.
Then we can help guide you into just buying stuff once. And not waste a pile of money
