@mojois being awesome and mailing me his hides. I'm wondering how zi can do a ramp without totally copying? I'm even thinking of adding a guardrail on the ramp. If anyone has any clever ideas, please let me know. I'm now getting a redfoot and super excited about it!

Guard rail might be necessary, mine sometimes thinks he can take the faster route by jumping of the ramp... His ramp is wooden, so it was easier to make one.

Thank you for interpreting my botched reply . Can i ask how you made the guard rail?

Mine is wooden, so I could just easily drill holes to it. I put some tortoise safe silicone into the holes and put the poles into the holes. Then I let the silicone dry (it took quite a while).

He loves it. He explores them regularly. I'm working on a second ramp so he can make complete circles again.

Could I ask... did you just put the twig ramp thing in? Or did you have to do anything to make sure there was nothing toxic about it? I got one for Agamemnon, but I've been unsure whether to put it in his enclosure just out of the bag. Looks like it was made in China, if that makes a difference.

I wash everything before putting it in his enclosure.

How do you wash the wood bridge thing?

I scrubbed it with a brush and used mild dish soap then rinsed it more then enough to make sure all soap was gone then I let it dry before putting it in the enclosure.
