We received a radiant heat panel this week for Reggie's new hide. We're having trouble inserting the retainer clip that is next to the plug of the panel. Its supposed to snap in but it just doesn't seem to fit the opening. Does anyone have experience with this that could help?

Thank you!

Its a tight fit. Took some force.

I don't think you need it. They work just fine without it.

I install a lot of these in the enclosures I sell.

I use a flat blade screw driver and put it in the two openings the clip goes into. I then wiggle back and forth both ways to widen/expand the opening. Don't be too aggressive, but do it enough to widen the opening. Without doing that I can't get some to fit at all, so you're not alone!

You guys are great! Thank you very much. It's almost 'soup'. We plan to get him in his new room in the next day or two :)
