Wally is inspecting this thing in his enclosure. Realizing what it is he tries to get a bite.

I don't know why I always get 2 of one picture and they are reversed.

I don't want to be mean, but that looks like torture to me. I hope you don't leave it visible but unreachable for very long.

I only set the container on the ground while I was mixing the mazuri. I was about 3 feet away at his feeding slab. He was on his way over from his hide at the other side of enclosure. He probably fixated on that green from 20 feet away. Once I picked up the container he headed straight for the stone. With only a glance at my red toenails. Lol. He goes after those too.

Oh yes! I got him off of CL last year. Never taken outside, kept in a cage for 5 years with a hot rock and rabbit pellets. Fed only red leaf lettuce, never soaked. His story is on here, a few times. Just search Wally. Lives outside now in a huge enclosure that is still evolving. Eats all sorts of grasses and greens, squash, and mazuri now. Thanks to Tom, and a few others he is doing great and walking on all fours! But he will always have some pyramiding.
