Water, Drinking horsefield.

Hi I've read that horsefields need water daily but then got told not to have a water bowl and bath them every other day for them to get drink and urinate at same time, very conflicting advise and I don't know what's best please help thank you

My Russians drink water, often! Nothing makes me "hate" the bad advice more than when I see my Russians drink from their water dishes.
Give them a water dish, please

Every Russian tortoise (horsfields) should have a water dish in its enclosure. Yours might ignore it for a long time, but what if he does need it one day, and there isn't any?
I've seen each of mine drink, some drink daily, others only every few weeks or so.
I would definitely put a water dish in there. I use pyrex pie dishes - those are the right size, and are easy to clean. I get them at the second-hand store. I like them better than a terra cotta saucer, because they are easier to sanitize.
