Garden Pal does not look at all healthy. He is being kept too dry and is obviously pyramiding. Also I hope he is in his own separate enclosure as tortoises must not be kept in pairs. Garden Pal in particular looks dominant and aggressive. Perhaps you had best re-home him, if you can find a caring and experienced person to take him off your hands and give Squirt a break. Good luck 😁!

Remember to not house different species together. Are you taking the correct quarantine measures? 😅

He definitely needs some extra love! Apparently his species remains very dormant most of the year.. he does have run of our secure garden though separate to squirt😉
I agree he looks a bit of a trouble maker!😂

haha all in order, luckily he’s a very hands off kind of tortoise🤣

I have done extensive research and at last I believe I have successfully made a correct identification of the species: Garden Pal is an extremely rare and endangered Cryptic Aggravated Stone River Valley tortoise from the remote interior desert region of southern Politonia! Scientific name: Astrochelys cryptolothica aggravaria. Nice find!

Wow appreciate the findings! The place we bought him from had no idea! Husbandry was awful too! They gave free roam around the garden centre, with access to unsuitable plants and pesticides! So glad he has a safe home with us now❤️

I met Garden Pal's relative in National Harbor. Poor creature seems to be abused by his owner 🤧😪
