Thank you! I was thinking muscadine. There was a vine on the other side of the house a very long time ago that used to produce but it died off years ago. I asked mom if she knew whether they were muscadines or not. She said they’ve never produced anything though so she didn’t know.

Looks like the muscadine vines we had around our place when living in Texas. They get to be a huge vine that has large grapes. The skins of the grape are thick and sour but inside is very sweet. Makes a wonderful jelly. Leaves should be a nice tort food.
Yes. I love muscadines. My mother in law grows them and makes stuff out of them. She gives them to us already bagged though, so I hadn’t seen a vine in awhile. Good to know I can collect these when I’m at my moms getting other weeds. Thanks!
