Just adopted a Sulcata, 12 y/o 70 lbs(approx)
I have yet to see it's tail. And didn't know if I should go hunting for it.:(
He poops and pees, but even when lifted up there is no tail sticking out
like other torts. Should I be worried. Ok stop laughing, I'm not joking.:(

Males leave their long tails tucked up against their bodies. It rests sort of on the back of their thigh. Females just have a tiny little nubbin.

Post a pic, but males hold the tails very close to there bodies and it blends in pretty good.
