How big are they, what's the outside temps. There are many things that come into play here. You have 2 and are keeping them together right? I would also suggest posting pictures of both indoor and outdoor enclosures for better help and ideas.

Here is how big they are next to a bracelet (they are both the same size) and they're outdoor and indoor enclosures

Oh ya and the outside temp is usually 90 when I put them out (I never put them out if it's below 80)

Oh ya, another question I wanted to ask was about outside. I usually put them outside all day with a water bowl and some shade. They seem to enjoy it. Anything I should change about that? Do I need a humid place out there too? ( it is safe from predators because it is covered in a chicken wire type thing. )

Its time to make some much larger enclosures for these guys. There are many ways to do it.

Where are you?

Here are some ideas for outdoor enclosures:

Do a forum search for "outdoor enclosures" for even more ideas.

Indoors, your life will be a lot easier, and their lives better if you build a couple of 4x8' closed chambers. You'll likely only need them for another year because your tortoises will outgrow them and need larger accommodations. Once they reach 8-10", I move them outside full time with a heated night box in their enclosure. Like these:

Indoors, I keep the ambient no lower than 80 nowhere in the enclosure day or night. In summer my ambient will creep up into the low 90s and that is just fine for sulcatas, but let it drop back down to 80ish at night. This includes the humid hide area.

Outdoors for a few hours at a time is fine for tortoises this size, weather permitting. They should be fine if it 70+ and sunny, and not too damp, like after a rain or something. Soak them on the way back in.

Ok, I think a lot of people go in to getting sulcatas thinking it would be amazing to have a pet that big (like me) and end up failing and the tortoises die. This is why I thank you greatly
