What is that tortoise ?

Hello , I have found a tortoise in a house that i have cleared , owner of the house died , and tortoise was left behind , i took it , but i dont know what it is , and how to care for it .
I have had red eared slider for 16 years now , so i want to keep this one too , just need to know how to take care of it .

A shot of the plastron is usually helpful. That shot can also help people sex it. Also, how big is it?

I don't know what it is but gosh is it cute.

It looks like a very old Herman's tortoise to me , don't know exactly what subspecies , hopefully someone with more knowledge will jump in a help :)

Wow! This one looks old!

Sorry to hear the owner died. Is there other one also left behind? Normally (of cause, I'm not normal) people kept more then one tortoise as pet.

Waiting for answer too.

Upon closer inspection, I am also inclined to say Hermanns, though it is unusually light colored! I think HermanniChris needs to chime in on this one.

I think our best bet in I.D.ing this tortoise comes from @HermanniChris

I would say an old Greek, but Chris will know for sure.

Yvonne is right. That's a beautiful, old male Greek (T. g. ibera). :)
