What is this?

I have only just discovered one of my RES has this little red spot. You can see it in the picture. I hope this isn't what they call blood poisoning... Any advices on what I should do?

Tough to tell for sure. Scabs/wounds ca sometimes look like that, but that's not a common spot for such a wound. Is this turtle kept with other turtles?

No he is currently alone in his tank. And he only has this one spot.

That little spot on the leg? Definitely looks like a sore.

Is there anything I can do to help? I don't wish to bring him to a vet only to give him injections :(

Dose he go out side my tort gets that if an ant bites him but it goes away

I don't think it were ants I watch him like a hawk whenever I bring him out to the sun.

I wiuld just watch it for now maybe once in awhile put some antibiotic cream on it. for the most part let it heal on its own and just make sure it doesn't get worse
