Hi, I recently bought 2 around-20 month-old horsefield tortoises at Christmas time. Today I let them out in the garden out for a little run around (it is not the first time), and caught my girly eating this, I'm really not sure what it is, so I was wondering if any of you guys might know, and if it is safe or not for them to eat?:

If your tortoise isn't acting different (sick) then it should be okay, just wait until you know what it is before feeding again

Tortoises know what to eat and not what to, they survive in the wild on knowing what's good and what's not, I wouldn't worry to much, if not at all! My 3 have soo many different kinds of weeds in there pen outside and the majority of them I don't know what they are but there smart enough to sort themselves out like every other tort

Yes it worked. It looks like some sort of violet. They are usually edible.
