What is up with her shell?

I just noticed that the bottom of Gem's shell does not look right. Does anyone know what this is or is it normal?

Looks like some old shell rot to me.

It looks like some fungal shell rot. You can use over the counter athletes foot cream on that. Keep him on a towel or paper towels while using it. No water in the enclosure. You have to wipe it off, than clean it off before you soak twice a day. Your going to have to do this for a week to a week and a half.
