Are you wanting to know what sub-species the tortoises are?

I did notice their long beaks :/ I have agreed to rehome a friends tortoise but they live a while away and havnt got back to me yet so I'm keeping my eyes open. Out of curiosity how do tortoises keep their beaks short?

Cheers :)

To help keep their beaks short you can feed them on a flat rock or something a little rough:) let us know if you get them :)

Hermann's, probably Eastern, and feeding them on a flat rock'll help keep their bills/nails at an appropriate length.

Excellent choice for a pet tortoise, IMABO the best (although some consider me to be slightly prejudiced in Testudo hermanni's favor... :p)
