That looks to be a male Russian Tortoise, I will leave it to those with the most up to date information to be able to tell you more. In the meantime there should be caresheets you can find and you can browse the forum for recommendations

Hello and welcome!

Yes, I agree, it's a Russian tortoise. And he looks like male. Given the shell condition - can be wild caught. Can be 7+ years old (or 17 or 70 - no way to reliably tell by appearance).

General husbandry guide can be found here:
https://tortoiseforum.org/threads/info-for-new-people-please-read-this-first.202363/ (point 10 lists suitable grocery products).

This is more specific care sheet for Russian tortoise (look for Feeding section):

Definitely quite a dry looking male Russian, where was he found?

How are you keeping/plan to keep him?

Is he indoors or outdoors?
If indoors..
What are your temperatures like? Ie basking temp(directly under the bulb), overall day temps, night temps?
What kind of basking bulb are you using specifically? Packaging photos are good if you have any
What’s your indoor uv type?
How’s humidity reading?
What kind of substrate?

A photo of the set up would be wonderful! If you’re willing to share!

In the meantime, hopefully you’ll find this indoor housing thread I made useful, it covers correct equipment(lighting, heating, uv), levels, sizing, appropriately maintaining humidity, substrates, there’s lots of visual examples for everything and a really handy diet link to check out!

This one is also really good to familiarise yourself with, it’ll help you avoid the wrong bulbs, substrates, housing etc, I always encourage double checking purchases on the forum too before buying

Welcome to the forum!🐢💚
