what would this white thing be?

My tortoises are healthy in general, but I just recently noticed this little white thing on their face:
(The thing beside his mouth, looks like if he had cloth forced into the side of his mouth)
He has a little bit of loose skin on the other side of his face. When I pulled it down gently, it showed the same thing. My other tortoise is also showing this. Would this be anything to worry about? (I know it looks like skin, but I’m worried because it came out of nowhere)

I would try 2 things.... Soak in warm shallow water to see if that clears what is concerning. 2. Very gently hold the tortoise head up vertical and the stretch their neck fully so you can see if something is wedged. Tortoise neck is very rolled . I think your worrying about noting but give above a go and see. If your tortoise sheds skin let it be, do not help or pull skin off. Regular water soaks are invaluable,

Okay that I seen, but too blurry to tell what it is. I would suggest doing what Sarah2020 suggested and see what that might show.
