What's this on her plastron???

Today while I was soaking my little girl I noticed a dark patch on her plastron. The area isn't soft (feels as firm as the rest) and my bigger girl has dark "geometric" coloration on her plastron (as adult redfoots do). Is this spot just part of that coloration developing or is it some type of rot??

(She's wet because I took her out of her soak to take the picture)
