YO! I'm Ralph, I first got into tortoises when one came to me, literally. I was 7 or 8 years old in my front yard back when I lived in California. I happened to notice something walking towards me, about 2 houses down from mine. I ran over to see what it was & it was my first tortoise. After that I knew that tortoises would be one of my passions. Before that I owned a few Red Ear Sliders. Since then I've been interested in African Spurred Tortoises (Geochelone Sulcata) & the first one I've ever owned was back in May 02'. I just can't get enough of these beauties.
