Be sure to give all the info you can think of.
Just asking for help my tortoise is sick, not acting right, hides alot, etc does nothing for us to be able to help.
Give the following info every time:
Species of tortoise.
Size and age.
Temps-basking, all over and night.
Humidity.
Type of heating and lighting being used.
Diet.
Substrate.
Enclosure size.
Also include Pictures of enclosure and tortoise.
Doing this answers the questions we always need to know and will save time if we don't have to ask for them first.
Next, answer ALL other questions asked. We ask the questions for a reason.
Doing the above will get you help quicker.

Agreed!

And please have a city and state in your user profile so we know where you are. Knowing the general climate in your area helps a lot, and the city name alone isn't helpful since there are duplicates in other states. Very different advice for Hollywood CA vs. Hollywood FL. Your climate matters.
