where can i adopt a sulcata tortoise?

after a lot of research, i've obviously seen that people want them as babies and later get rid of them. i'm interested in getting a sulcata and figured if i could save one, why not? but i only found 1 site and they had 2 tortoises available. -_- please help!

are you looking for a full grown adult?

If you want a bigger one, there's usually a couple on craigslist

Craigslist is usually the best option, also look for local rescues.
