I am in Florida. Some of you can get some really cool substrates like the pathway bark.....I cannot.

So I am looking to see what some other Florida tort keepers are using for substrates. My indoor enclosures are coco fiber/cypress mulch mix. I want to make some temporary outdoor enclosures (kiddy pools) and I will need quite a bit of substrate to fill it. They will be for a sulcata hatchling and a leopard yearling.

Cypress is a great choice for substrate. One of the best generally speaking.

Cypress, Lowe's offers Corbit Cypress which is a better mix then the others if you can find it. It is not available in all parts of FL.
