Hello everyone. I am planning to buy a large amount of Mazuri for my 9-month-old sulcata and I see that on the Mazuri.com website they have 25lbs bag of 3 different kinds - I've read the ingredients lists and the analyses but I'm so confused on which one is the right one to buy. Can someone help me? Below are the links to them.

The general page with all of the Mazuri types for tortoise: https://www.mazuri.com/tortoise.aspx

Here are the different 25lbs bag options:

The type we mostly use has the red tag on the bag.
Use care when placing your order, or you might end up with 25 pounds of something that most tortoises wont eat. Like the "L.S." type.;)
Have you tried looking into getting it from a feed store? A place that sells hay and food for livestock? A lot of those places has it right there on a shelf.

Before placing my order of 25lb bags of Mazuri 5M21, I notice a huge price difference. Ordering from the above link is $35 to the door compared to amazon being over twice the cost to the door. Anything I should be aware of?

$35 to the door:

$90 to the door (cannot guarantee it is 5M21):

I to searched a lot online before making my purchase. I came across a lot of the same product that was overpriced on both eBay and Amazon. From what I found I got more bang for my buck ordering directly from their company. When I ordered it through them they shipped it promptly and I received it only a few days later.

Thanks, seemed to good to be true. Exceptional deal.
Np, I believe when I ordered it directly through the company I think my total cost was $39. A 25 lb of mazuri is a lot. I think I have enough for a whole year supply..lol. I ended up putting it in big freezer bags, I have some in my pantry and I tried freezing some... not sure how that will turn out.

Both my sucs are rescued and wife says they are costing as much as the horses. LOL
figured long term what ever I can do now for them will only help them get back to or close to were they need to be.

Please let me know what you find with freezing it. I would be more then interested to know how it turns out!

I buy 25lb bag of 5M21 and get 10/1gal bags out of it and store them in my freezer with no problem. Feeds my torts for about 4to 5 months. Twice a week my 5 RFs get a cafeteria tray of it. I only freeze it because of an ant problem. With Irma and a near freeze stripping my hibiscus, which are now rebounding, 5M21 can be an over winter lifesaver.
