That usually means they're being kept too dry
It should diminish over time. Keep the humidity as wet as possible without it raining inside of the enclosure. Be sure to give it good 20-30 minute soaks at least once daily.I’ve made it a new enclosure that will hold humidity , will it eventually go away or is it permanent?

Greetings.
Yes, i agree looks a bit too dry. Daily warm water soaks...and think of dabbing a wee bit of organic coconut oil on there once in awhile, even some all over the shell. Even once/month and it will make everything look good. The key though, is to maintain humidity and soakings (forever).
Good luck!

Hey there.... are you talking about real rain on your Sully’s outside enclosure? If so, rain and warmth is good for them...
I think previous comments regarding rain in an enclosure is referring to too much humidity in an enclosure like an aquarium, not real rain on your Sully outside.. (especially in a super dry environment like Arizona).
Good luck and Happy Torting.
I meant it more or less as an aesthetics thing. I don't like it raining in mine because I find the substrate gets too soaked. Since I have webcams in my enclosure as well, I prefer not to have it too foggy inside so that I can clearly monitor Ghost when I'm not home. 80-90% humidity does the trick for me.haha no im talking about the humidity rising up in his indoor enclosure and dripping back down. I read that there is no too much humidity?
