White truffles!

I know this is not the norm. But for Christmas I was give my guy a little something special and I mean what's more special right? Was just wondering if there was any reason not to give him a little slice of the truffle goodness. Anyone ever heard of a tortoise enjoying the finer things in life? They eat mushrooms and grubs and dirt so why would truffle be so bad?
