Here in Florida we have a lot of overgrown vacant properties near ours. Most are overgrown with wild grape vines. Is it safe to feed a Sulcata the leaves from these?

Be absolutely sure that the property hasn't been contaminated with chemical waste products. Waste products from paints to pesticides become poisons for our tortoises when the plants on the property absorb them through their root growths. Much, much better to be safe rather than sorry later. Other than these wwords of caution, grape leaves are a favored source of food for our tortoises.

No chemicals...just lots of weeds and vines that have been there for years. Thank you though.
