Will this heal okay?

Yesterday my tortoise got into the tires that my father has set out and flipped himself over. I’m not sure how long he was flipped over for but I know he was very distressed due to himself peeing and pooping on himself.
I noticed these damages today to his shell.Do you guys know if it will heal okay? Also, is there anything I can do to help it?

Nothing you can do about that. In time it will weather and be less noticeable.

Sounds like you need to make an enclosure for your tortoise to keep him contained and away from things like tires.

Yes he has an enclosure but my dad lets him out into the yard while he’s doing yard work so he can roam. It just unfortunately happened when he set out the tires to work on them and then left.
