Hi All,
I'm anxiously waiting for the outside temperatures to rise a bit (since I live in the frozen tundra) so that my 6 month old Leopard tortoise can safely be shipped to me.
In the mean time I'm reading, reading, reading and preparing for her arrival. I've attached pictures of her new home. I have a 10.0 ReptiSun UVB light, as well as a ceramic heat emitter. I've also planted a mixture of cat grass and lettuce in there for her to have seedlings to munch on. They're just now starting to sprout so you can't see them in the picture. As for the adult plants, some are live and 2 are plastic. All of the moss is natural grown in the woods, without fertilizers.
I would really appreciate any input, as I want it to be perfect for her.
Thanks everyone.

Its looking good. One thing id say for in the future is remove the pebbles when the tortoise is bigger (a lot bigger judging by the size of them). Because it might try to Eat them. What are your four temps and humidity levels? And are you using the CHE for night time heat?

I'll remember to remove them. I think by the time she's big enough to try and eat them, she'll be in a larger home as they're quite big. The CHE will be used at night when she arrives. I'm playing with temps. and humidity levels right now. I'm maintaining about 80% humidity overall. As for temps, I'm shooting for 100 degrees in the basking spot, graduating down to the other end being about 80 degrees. Right now I'm moving the heat emitter around to get what's going to be my optimum levels.
