Worried about bird seed

I usually feed the bird with bird seed. I haven't been doing this since my tortoise arrived last weekend. I was wondering whether it's safe in case they knock some over and he ends up eating it?

Like a bird feeder outside? Just rig it so it can't tip/fall
Cuz inside your tortoise should not be roaming the house.

I don't understand what feeding the bird has to do with your tortoise. How would the tortoise gain access to spilled seed? Is your tortoise housed under the bird cage?

Bird seed won't harm your tortoise.
