Worried about my shellys

Ok my turtles skin is like peeling. It looks like when you have a lot of dead skin and wash it off. I've seen it happen if they get stressed but this is worse and has been like three days.

Post a pic and give temps, basking light your using and any other info you can. Size tank, how many turtles, etc.

There are 8 turtles. 200 gal water Full spectrum light and a heat light. They eat reptomin and a full variety of veggies and some fruit. Also the other day they got a treat of fresh coughs crayfish from a river near by. I don't have a temp gage on the topper yet as it is not finished quite yes but the water is always about 70*

They could just be shedding. My sliders shed skin all the time, kind of gross, rather filmy looking in the water.
From your other thread, your turtles' shells look amazing, but I don't know what to say about their skin. Sounds like shedding

Ok so they do shed skin. That's like normal. Ok. That may be it. Yeah my water is cloudy with all the yuck of late and they had a major treat of wild crayfish that when they were done eating left one heck of a mess in the tank. The filter is just starting to catch up. I keep a good eye on there shells and use a shell wax about once a week. Most have old scars from poor care in the past that I like to keep an eye on for shell rote and other issues.

Ok they have all stopped and look great now. Thank you all for helping me out. I look stuff up online and get some of the scariest stuff I'm glad I have some real people to chat with
