Looks like the conditions you have it in might be too dry. Do you monitor the humidity levels?

The season has changed so perhaps it may be a bit dry so I put coconut oil on the shell and I will monitor it. I though it could be the tortoise when they barge past each other so may have scraped it or something. You see so many things on the internet and can't help but think of the worst thank you!
