My tortoise started eating less and pooping once in 10 to 15 days i thought he is constipated or have worms but today vet took x-ray,he is saying that my tort has been eating rocks, he prescribed laxative and liver tonic. What other things i can do to help my tortoise pass these gravels easily. I am worried he is eating very less.

What do you feed your tortoise and how is it housed?
I am feeding him cucumber, okra, pumpkin, aloevera, flower, leaves and grass sometimes i sprinkle calcium on his food and give him pellets
I don't have indoor enclosure for him yet he spend all day outdoors in the evening we bring him in, which is a half cemented area and half garden area covered with black soil

The bulk of the diet should be broad leaf weeds of the right types. Leafy greens from the store can work too if properly amended. Mulberry or grape leaves are good. Grass is good. Occasional flowers of the right types are good. Spinelss opuntia pads will hep the gravel pass. Does he eat the aloe vera? Cucumber, okra, or pumpkin should make up a very small percentage of the diet and not be fed every day.

Is there an area in the yard where this sort of gravel is abundant, or is he picking pieces out of the dirt?

A ride in a car is a great laxative and usually helps with getting things passed. Hydration is vital and follow Toms advice on feeding. We all are wanting the best for your tort.
