The week long tortoise table project is done! Now just waiting for the sealer to be officially 'cured'! I'm so excited for my 2 Russian Tortoises to enjoy their new indoor home! :)

That is a great job. Looks fantastic.

I don't want to put a damper on your great job being done. However, the chances of two Russians being able to live together long is not good. So, just be prepared to build another one. Will be a cinch now though:)

Oh really? I heard 2 males can't live together but I didn't know a male and females can't either...

They have been together for about 6 months now...no sign of aggression. They sleep together and seem to enjoy each others company while going off on their own adventures as well...how long will this go on for before they most likely have to split?

You did an awesome job! As for the two getting along, my own experience was two males got along better then a male/female combo. The problem with a male/female is if you have a sexually motivated male, he can pester the female to extremes including doing some serious biting. A lot depends on YOUR tortoises. It's just something to watch for ANY time you have more then one tortoise in an enclosure.

I did not know that! Thanks! I'll keep an eye on that!
