Yellow Foot in Hawaii

Just wanted to share these pics from our Hawaii trip. The Hilton has a huge enclosure for a couple of what I believe to be yellows. This was the only one I could find.

I just read the yellowfoot thread, and this guy seems to be pretty large! I thought he was so beautiful! I checked on him every morning when we got our coffee.

I thought RF too, and quite an old specimen.

Agree with Ben and Yvonne. Looks definitely like an old, huge, red foot :). Very nice! Would kill to have that guy to court a big female of mine….:)

Thanks! I have visited them for years but from a distance. I just assumed they were yellow because they didn't look anything like my reds.
Cool to know a little back story.
I have been vacationing there for 20 yrs and always observe them .

Next time at the hotel let me know and we can go ln the enclouser. I will see if I can get a weight on them.

The photo you took at the Hilton Waikoloa is of Fred around 30 years old and they say he weighs close to 50 lbs.
