So for a little while part of my LED strip lights stopped working. I figured it would be ok for a bit because the other half of the lights still worked and the room lights were on. Well I guess Optimus thought otherwise. He slowed down on eating this week. Yesterday he barely ate. Then this morning I don;t think he touched his food. For some reason Optimus decided that he was going to sleep in the darkest corner. I must say I love the laser temp gun. I made sure he wasn't getting cold. Nope 83 in that corner. (I knew it wasn't cold but I had to check again).

Rather than wait for Amazon to bring me lights. I ran over to Walmart. Pick up another roll of strip lights. Came home he's still in that darker corner. I peeled the plastic back installed the new lights, set it to the daylight setting and bam! Within minutes Optimus comes out of that corner, moves to bask a bit and them finishes off his big plate of yummy greens and cactus pad. Which he only nibbled on earlier.

I'm so happy for this forum, because without you all I would not have known how important it is for them to have brightness everywhere.

Now back Optimus is back to packing on the weight, and I need to hurry up with the outdoor space.

The dark overcast ugly weather was depressing Optimus. He needed the sun to come back out. I can relate!

We say these things day after day and hope people believe us. Its kind of neat to see such a stark, obvious example. Glad he is okay, and thank you for posting.

Perfectly put. I couldn't put my finger on what it was doing to him. He sure was happy to see the sun out again.
