They have been more active and alert. Currently are consuming some cucumbers and orange peppers.

I did notice that they are not a fan of the regular tortoise food that I had purchased, but instead really enjoy produce. But I do add calcium and cactus so at least I know they’re getting some of what they should be eating

I also went ahead and bought more hides and more plants to introduce into the enclosure, and I bought a fiber mat so that is the substrate will be covered.
Had a little LMAO moment today! I’ve been reported and blocked off the tortoise friendly community groups on Facebook for recommending to some users to use the tortoiseforum for more credible, useful and friendly advice 😂🐢

They friendly didn't put you on fire.
I guess they may have "external links" policy or such and just ban any references to external sites.

Well when I originally joined there was no rules to agree to but I presume they just make it up as they go along much like some of the information they dish out 😂

These rules are sometimes in the pinned posts. But you may be right. There are lots of stories like yours about FB and YT. Yet, to be honest, sometimes newcomers (no matter how experienced they are) on this forum get a "harsh welcome" and then word of mouth spreads to avoid TFO...
New here! what should be the minimum size for a baby 9cm sulcata :D?

Hello and welcome! Go as large as you can - 1x2 meters is a good start.

Check this care sheet:

Also, I suggest to start a new thread (use green button New thread in the top right) with photos of your tortoise and its enclosure to help you to tailor the advice to your climate and such.
Hi, @HoosierTort

I was wondering if you could help me out with any information or suggestions on this:
My step daughter’s adult male Russian tortoise has been living with us, however her mother has gotten a job placement out of the country and we are now looking for someone to rehome him to. We are in Indianapolis.

Greatly appreciate any help or suggestions you may have.

Thanks
Hello would you have any sulcata tortoise for sale?

I do not. And that is the wrong species for your climate. Get something that you can work with in your winters.
Hi Rodriguez, just curious what you have in stock on the South African Leopard front. I live here in Santa Clarita and would be open to all sizes. Thank you!!
Tom lost my account info but I was suppose to get some Burmese pics from you a month ago until now have had no way to get in Touch ID still like to see what’s available thanks Mike I

@Yvonne G I am so sorry you haven't had any response yet. This thread is not in the right place. Hopefully the moderator can switch it over.

Is there any way you can post some photos for us?
Did you see my reply to you from Monday regarding Radiated Tortoise breeders in GA? Look in your conversations.

It looks as though you haven't been back here since you asked me the question, so I guess you haven't seen my reply.

Hi and welcome. Have you posted in the Introductions or personal promotions thread yet? Not many people read profile posts so you'll get a lot more responses there.
Hi, we have an Aldabra that’s about 2 years old now living out in Lancaster, CA. She’s getting bigger now, and we’re looking for ideas on how to best keep her outdoors. We would like to see her continue to thrive in this environment. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Hi Chris, I’m in the uk and my son has been badgering me for a pet tortoise for quite some time now :) Your YouTube channel has been so helpful in providing reliable info on all aspects of care and the differences between species so I just wanted to say thank you. We are picking up our 10month old Western Herman at the weekend and thanks to you we feel we can give him/her the best start in their long and gentle life.
